Movie Promotion
Christmas Carol - The Movie
In association with Fingerprint Multimedia, The Film Consortium this CD-ROM was built using Director 8.5 and was created for Illuminated Films animated version of Dickens - A Christmas Carol. The film was released in December 2001 and stars the voices of Simon Callow, Kate Winslet & Nicholas Cage. The CD-ROM provides primary school teachers and students with an interactive 'virtual tour' of the animation studios where the Christmas Carol - The Movie was made - giving pupils the chance to experiment with dialogue, storyboards, layout, animation and editing as well as meeting targets within the English and Literacy curriculum's. |

DataBase Interfaces
Marks & Spencer - Style Studio
Marks & Spencers needed to improve their staffs product knowledge of their entire clothing range. Using Director 8 to read from an Access database via ODBC each page is dynamically built at run time, including dynamically generated hot-spots on images, menus and hyperlinks. |

MGM VHS & DVD Database
MGM required their VHS & DVD database to be made available to all music & video retailers in the UK. It was essential that the programme could run straight from the CD. So to avoid having to install special database drivers we wrote our own full text query and display routines in Director 8. |
